PriceLens analyses price history on Amazon to help you tell a real drop from a fake discount. Two independent tools: a website and a browser extension.

We are subject to Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.
You can browse the entire site without providing any personal information. No account is required. We do not collect your name, your IP address for profiling purposes, or your browsing history.
This service is optional and rests on your explicit consent. If you subscribe, we collect:
Double confirmation. After you subscribe, we send you an email with a confirmation link. Until you click it, no other email is sent and your address serves no other purpose. If you already use our extension with a confirmed address, that confirmation also covers the website.
What you receive. Depending on your choices: deals matching your categories, the price analysis, or both. We never send an empty email: if there is nothing worth showing you, you receive nothing.
Retention. Your information is kept while your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe and no other alert remains, your entire record — address included — is deleted immediately. Failing any activity, everything is erased after 18 months.
We never collect your Amazon credentials, payment methods, purchase history, or cart contents.
When you create an alert, the extension periodically visits the Amazon page of that product to check its price, even when you are not looking at it. This check covers only the items you chose to follow. It stops as soon as you delete the alert.
The extension addresses a general audience and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Collected price points are kept indefinitely: they form the history that gives the service its value, and they identify no one. Your alerts and address are deleted as soon as you remove them, or after 18 months of inactivity.
The website uses a small number of cookies, all necessary for it to work. None serve advertising, audience measurement or browsing tracking.
These cookies are strictly necessary to the service you requested and therefore require no prior consent. You can delete them from your browser settings; the site will keep working, but your display preferences will reset. The extension itself uses no cookies.
Some of these providers may process or host data outside Quebec, notably in the United States and Europe. We choose established providers who publish their own privacy commitments, and we send them only what their function strictly requires.
The Amazon links we publish are affiliate links: PriceLens may earn a commission on eligible purchases, at no extra cost to you. This never influences our verdicts, which are calculated automatically from price history.
Exchanges with our servers are encrypted (HTTPS). Email addresses are stored separately from the rest of the data and never appear in plain text in our indexes. Management and unsubscribe links are cryptographically signed and time-limited.
Law 25 grants you the right to access your information, have it corrected, have it deleted, and withdraw your consent.
Without writing to us: you can view and change your email preferences, or delete everything, from pricelens.ca/my-alerts or the link at the bottom of each of our emails. Your price alerts are managed directly in the extension.
For any other request: write to info@pricelens.ca. We answer within 30 days at most. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Price data is provided for guidance only. It comes from third-party sources and can change at any time. PriceLens does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information presented, and declines any liability for a purchase decision based on this data. Always check the price on Amazon before buying. PriceLens is affiliated with neither Amazon nor any seller.
