Lowest price on record, down over 90 days
Out of 28 events observed, the price really dropped 1 time, by about 7.9 % on average. In 2 cases, the price had climbed about 67.7 % in the two weeks before.
The current price of $16.99 matches the lowest point recorded over the past 365 days, far below the $49.99 peak seen during that same span. The 34.1% decline over the last 90 days points to a sustained downward trend rather than a brief dip.
That said, this price is otherwise quite stable day to day, typically shifting only once every 36 days. Worth noting: across 28 tracked sales events like Black Friday, a genuine discount appeared just once, and prices were sometimes inflated beforehand to make those events look better than they were.
Since the product is already sitting at its all time low and prices rarely move, there's little reason to wait for a sales event, which historically haven't delivered better deals here. At $16.99, this is currently the best documented price available.
